Funny enough, I never even mentioned kill stealing as an issue I had with Arbites in this thread.
The original issue I brought up was how Arbites is able to ignore coherency with significantly less penalties and how that can encourage the production of bad habits for novice players.
LOL, novice players, so we are all NOVICE PLAYERS (Your words), pity how seasoned players also do this, as I said before, this I suspect is from players who over time got sick of the “Overzealous Heretic Slayer” players.
Then maybe you need to address that as it is more of an issue than Arbite players.
I don’t use any mods at all and get frustrated at people clearly waiting for the last “pop” to take kills, especially on crushers and reapers as it’s so obvious and easy to time it.
Admittedly this was when I was doing penances and I needed the kills so care less about it now although it still takes the satisfaction out of the battle if it happens constantly in a mission. It’s also just bad sportsmanship. If the kills don’t matter, why steal them? There’s plenty of enemies in the game to go around instead of needing to constantly jump into the end of someone else’s battle after most the hard fight has happened.
Your words actually, I never called you specifically a novice player.
It’s not really as much an issue as your making it, ironic considering your fixation on scoreboard users and their supposed “obsession” on getting kills.
I’m not really interested in getting into an emotionally overblown forum spat right now. I’ve said what I’ve said, that being that Arbites in the current state allows for and even encourages bad habits that do not translate well to other classes.
