Maybe as a side-branch talent that lets you add extra % healed to it? I can understand not going all the way to 100%, but 25% max is painful!
Wait WHAT. Is that why I’m not healing properly??? I thought it was just my weapons being trash!
Holy heck revert that right away, it was a great talent!
Yeah I was confused at first too but then I realized
I’ve played an absurd amount of zealot, always running holy revenant, and I agree that it needed to be nerfed. It was to survivability what volley fire was to killing. They both needed to be reigned in.
It’s still an S tier talent in my book at least, still a cornerstone of my playstyle. When it procs you have to be more considerate on whether to dive deeper or carve your way out, but really the situations where you have to bail are about the same with a 25% hp return vs 100% hp, if you’re absolutely swamped in melee by elites, your going to lose all your health in a second either way. The main difference now is how much less chip damage you can take during the 2 minute cooldown, but that’s really not much of a drawback, hang back with the team for a spell, then get back in there.
Another ameliorating factor is that there is no incentive to have low health anymore unless you take the relevant talent. IMOP the crit talent on the left hand side of the tree (can’t remember its name) is far superior to martyrdom. It’s up basically 100% of the time, super consistent damage buff at max health, and you can save your curios for more damage reduction in place of wounds.
The fact that there is almost no cost to spec into it since we have the new tree system, healing too much is just too op imo. perhaps 35% should be acceptable.
It’s funny because it’s a nerf and a buff at the same time. Running max wounds getting a full holy rev heal still leaves you at 5 martyrdom stacks, which is pretty ideal honestly.
