Another Vet Nerf complaint thread

It’s pretty much just as good as the gold in my eyes, I’d argue & may be slightly OP, wink, wink, but I’ll never tell. There’s literally no risk or downside, plus it’s infinite too. You ULT them up & get right back to fighting without skipping a beat. Whenever you pick somebody up it takes a few seconds & you’re risking yourself doing that by getting yourself downed in the process on higher difficulties. That’s why I love playing a lot of Zealot, because of the 61% (1.4 second pick up time on revive). Now, I’ve been playing a lot less Zealot just because of this. The only slight downside I can think of is that if your team is actually good & hardly go down then it’s a bit of a waste somewhat, admittedly. But it’s better to be safe than sorry. When I don’t take it & really needed it, I punch myself in the head for that. I play in a pre-made, so the guys I’m with are above average players in my estimation & hardly go down. I would say this is probably a bit better using it playing with PUG’s, because of the RNG-gate of players. Other than that, it’s a solid choice in my book.

Look man I’ve butt heads with @silentbob515 plenty around here but I’ve never gotten the impression the opinions they give are in any way insincere or an attempt at trolling. I kinda half agree with their take here TBH.

Revive shout does have a bit of an opportunity cost, in that saving it for revives can often mean not using it pre-emptively to avoid the downs in the first place. It’s a short enough cooldown that that’s perfectly manageable and can be avoided with good judgement, but it’s not a negligible factor either. Still worth overall and it gets better the worse your team is (to an extent), but I’d also hesitate to call it S tier personally.

Mostly though I’m wary of calling everyone who disagrees on something a troll. It gets overused to avoid engaging with different opinions.

He literally does this with many posts… You must be blind as a bat. Ask literally anybody on here, bud. I don’t feel bad at all for saying that. He’s a known troll. I’m not saying this out of some grudge, he does this to most people he’s in contact with. Open your damn eyes man. Like I would say this kind of thing for the pure joy of it. lol GTFO. I’m not wasting my effing time with a troll. I just got those thumbs up for literally no reason at all… If you know, you know.

In PUG’s most people generally suck & that’s why it’s worth it in my judgment. If you’re with a pre-made it’s less of a priority, but I guess you didn’t read that either, huh?

No need to get defensive and start throwing around stuff like this:

That wasn’t the tone I was throwing at you so I’d rather not receive that kind of tone back.

Regardless, I don’t want to derail the thread arguing back and forth on what a troll is. To be clear though, I wasn’t suggesting you were being disingenuous or saying things “just for the joy of it”.

If you find they have nothing of value to say I recommend using the mute/block function or whatever it’s called on this website. Then you won’t have to see their takes ever again.

No hate or condescension intended, just a genuine suggestion :victory_hand:

No, it’s just weird is that I see you on this forum a lot & you type all that out not knowing he’s a troll? Also, that another guy he banters with is one as well. It’s just a little shocking is all to me, that’s why the snark remark I gave to him. Anyway, I don’t want this thread to be about people whose obviously intent here is just to be a sht disturbers. It’s not often I talk to any of them, so there was never a point in blocking in the first place. It’s even rare that they send messages, so it’s not super concerning to me. It’s once in a blue moon I even converse anyway. So, I’ll just leave it at that, I suppose.
