An Update on Itemization

Hey super nice to have this transparency! This is the right direction!

Any chance we can get the ability to Shift Select to highlight more than one item at a time in the meantime?

I rolled so many weapons with the current system that I won’t make it out alive. D:

The same visionaries that turned the vet into a paraplegic and which took FatShark like 2 months to repair.

I cannot let you saying that…

Yesterday again, I had to play with a plasma gun on legs… And this ia terribly annoying especially when you see that bolter now don’t open shields…
Plasma infinite cleave… Is really a problem
(Revolver on vet is also a problem, but plasma is even more problematic)

I don’t use keystones cause they are too bad. But other than that, vet tree is really interesting.

@Ralendil

Come now, you were complaining about it just as much and just as emphatically as I was at the time before they finally fixed it. I remember it distinctly, because that was the first time you and I ever found common cause on the forum.

Not referring to its current state, I’m referring to the broken-ass state it was released in, and which it largely stayed in until FatShark FINALLY fixed in their last patch before going on vacation for Christmas.

Unless I’m misunderstanding your comment…

Don’t know what you mean. My position has always be the same. Vet tree, without keystones, was great. With keystones, the talent tree is still fine (but less interesting)

Here several posts I made on this topic:

Just after the update:

@Ralendil
Here’s what I’m referring to.

@brosgw

I sure hope no monkey paws start curling in light of this news

Imagine the reaction if it turns out that, yes they removed the locks, but also the ability to change blessings and perks lol

why stop there? Maybe they can also find a way to make us also contract hemophilia for having the gall not to accept the crafting system in its “glorious” original form.

It’s FS. Assume the worst until proven otherwise.

Appreciate it my friend. Helps clear up the Spanish article!

My father has haemophilia; I remember when he tried to donate blood once…

Long story short, he fainted in the parking lot.

Well… Shît. Now I just feel bad. And I don’t even want to try to unpack all the possible symbolism.

So I guess…you win? Kinda coming up short on responses here.

No, don’t feel bad! The “Parking Lot Incident” is something we laugh about now! :joy:

if the itemization stuff isn’t going to be out until AFTER summer, please for emperor’s sake, remove the locks before you leave the office! another two months of this is going to be rough enough as it is, at least remove the locks in a hotfix or something

Very aptly put. You have my commendation for writing it up that way.
