AMD. Stable framerate without stutters(maybe)

Issue Description (Required):

Dropping FPS from 150+ to 50 with stuttering.
How I reached impossible performance with rare micro stutters (1-4%).

Attempted Solutions (Optional):

  1. Change branch to “Experimental build”. “direct_storage” disabled.
    KNOWN ISSUE: Performance Issues/Audio Stuttering After Path of Redemption Update - #13

  2. Open the game and set graphic settings to lowest as possible. VSync off. Restart the game if needed.

  3. Select a frame cap limit that is half the refresh rate of your monitor.
    Example: I have 180 Hz - picking 90Hz.

P.S. Don’t know but max frame rate capped at 120Hz on the Experimental build.

  1. Turn on FrameGen 3.1.
    Yeap. Its weird but it work correctly on Experimental build with “direct_storage”.

  1. Check GPU utilization. If its below 90% - you can adjust some graphic settings to keep utilization is between 80% and 90%.
    CPU bounded settings keep at low.

Hello,

Since you mentioned using the Adrenalin drivers, it might be worth trying a clean reinstall of the latest AMD drivers. Sometimes, issues can occur if there’s been an incomplete or corrupted installation. Use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to clean out the old drivers before reinstalling the latest version from AMD’s website.
