Adjustments to weaker psyker feats

To keep it short, a lot of the psyker feats are interesting but not powerful enough to be viable, and small adjustments could be made to them to allow for much more interesting builds.

Tier 1
While Quietitude is generally the best, the other 2 are still decent and useful in some scenarios, only small buffs needed if any. A funny buff for Essence Harvest oriented towards new players would be when you overload, you lose one wound of corruption and explode but are not downed.

Tier 2
Psykinetic’s Wrath - Rename this perk so it doesn’t have the same name as the class ability and buff the percentage at high peril to 20-25% to let it help some builds reach important breakpoints as a reward for keeping high peril.

Wrack and Ruin - While cool and flashy , 2 stacks of soulblaze isn’t even enough to kill poxwalkers, so it is worthless. Increasing the stacks of soulblaze to 4 would help, as well as having this effect apply when an elite is killed with any force attack, to synergize well with the Force Sword.

Tier 3
Cereberal Lacerations - Not terrible, but can’t compete with the other 2 great options in this tier. An increase in the damage taken, and potentially highlighting the affected enemy in a special color would help teammates know that specific enemy is more vulnerable.

Tier 4
Kinetic Deflection is an amazing and versatile skill, meaning the other options have to be pretty good to ever be chosen.

Kinetic Shield - This bonus should apply to all toughness damage received and should also increase toughness regeneration speed by the same percentage.

Mind in Motion - This perk is rendered obsolete due to some blessings (Transfer Peril) and at the very least could allow you to sprint and slide at normal speed while quelling and give a small quelling speed buff.

Tier 5
Kinetic Overload - Applying a weak few soulblaze stacks to a random nearby elite is much worse than what the other options offer, so at the very least it should apply the soulblaze stacks to all nearby in a wider radius.

Tier 6
Quicken - Generally not that necessary or interesting compared to the other perks. If it gave a bit of toughness for each warp charge expelled, or even a burst of movement speed, that would make it a good durability-based option.

Hi! Nice suggestions!

You are right: Psyker is a cool class. I am a die hard (Gun xD) Psyker main atm. Almost put 200h in it.

I’d add / change some things:

T2 Wrack and Ruin: I think it would be to strong if it procs with any force sword charged kill. I often find myself killing elites with that warp charged attack in very quick manner.
I’d personally leave it the way it is (slight range increase though) but trigger whenever you damage an enemy with a brain burst. And maybe give it a short cooldown (2 seconds or so) so it cannot be abused with kinetic barrage.

T3 Cereberal Laceration: Good on a gun psyker right now. -15% debuff to enemy damage taken from all sources except your warp attacks is enough. Don’t forget: All your 3 teammates attacks getting buffed, so the debuff is kinda strong. I’d rather increase its duration to 8 seconds so you could debuff packs of thougher elites like bulwarks / reapers abit more efficently while also empore the kinetic flayer gun psyker to further greatness. The idea with some sort of highlighting effect is great! Would help teams to coordinate outside of obvious occasions like boss fights.

T5 Mind In Motion: Even with your buffs, it would still be too weak. I’d add increased quell speed (like 20% or so) to it. Enables staff spam builds of any kind to be more viable. (Oh nevermind, you said a small quell speed buff, i’d make it a somewhat big quell speed buff though)

T5 Kinetic Overloard: I’d get rid of that one entirely. Or remake it in that way that when it procs it would apply soulblaze stacks to all (elite/special) enemies around yourself. This would enable interesting melee DoT builds.

T6 Quicken: I dig that movement speed idea!

I agree, any of these changes would be super nice to allow a bit more variety
