Add the 1 to 2gb Lua heap switch to launcher settings, this helps with many if not most of the “Out of memory errors” that are Lua related, e.g. large inventory management and crafting.
With the recent crafting stuff with or without mods, giving users the options to set a range of 1gb to 2gb in the launcher settings would go a long way.
Launch parameter for steam --lua-heap-mb-size 2048 or launcher.exe.config is nice to know about, finally (ages after I had asked), but opening up the option to the general public would be really helpful.

AFAIK , many if not most of the “Out of memory errors” are Lua heap limit being exceeded, default 1GB, so lotsa crafting and inventory management blows it, more with mods.
Guh, proving my point I suppose (and YW OFC), this is useful information for everyone to have.
A long while back, I had asked if there was a way to increase the heap limit and never got an answer. I used to crash all the time due to large inventory management, often crashing in a mission.
Then some some kind soul mentioned it on reddit, that a dev on discord had posted the option and all my problems went away. IDK if the functionality was added later or what, but having known about it sooner would have save a lot of time and irritation, and not sticking my team with a bot until i reconnected.
