No one is going to get angry about it since you implemented crafting and game isn’t as bare bones anymore.
Game already get’s incredibly stale and there are only a couple of cosmetics that people like. I only see red cape zealots, gas mask suit vets and those leopard pants ogryns. Other cosmetics are almost never used and most characters look the same
They probably don’t wanna add cosmetics till playerbase will be at some meaningfull numbers, so they could earn money from hype driven buys with every cosmetics drop,
We just need content and variety in it, that´s all. And yes… even cosmetics (buyable and achievable) are content.
Still dunno how poeple can put this game into a looter-shooter category. You don´t loot anything here. You´ve a bunch of weapons to go through, that´s it. And all this side-content grind with blessings, stats, whatever… is just made to keep the player somewhat engaged with the rinse and repeat gameplay on the bit of maps available.
It´s just about gameplay, not about looting.
Basically. People are still trying to farm hard penances for those cosmetics etc so it’s a good thing to keep players. If you finish everything in a day and have nothing to do you will move on faster
They could also turn it in some form of looting-game. Just add some really strong random bosses having a chance to drop cool stuff. Add something like raids or deep dives offering special tokens or maybe even a bit of Aquilas for the first finish per week.
The game could be way more and players would get something with a meaning to continue with the game. Instead we got nothing but fixes yet. (Which is not bad, but it´s time to bring new stuff into the game.)
