I think the new UI is nice, but has its issues. As a controller player on Steam (PC), I can open the new UI with controller and the Legacy UI with keyboard, so I have the best both worlds. I’ve found this to be fantastic and resolve most UI issues.
As such, I think there should be an additional keybind to access the Legacy UI directly, without having to disable the new UI in the Options. Anyone who wants the Legacy UI are glad to give up the new UI even if they lose new options, and they just switch in options occasionally (eg deleting deeds). This would entice more of them to try the new one since they wouldn’t need to change it in options and can smoothly use either one.
