Debatable… and that’s not me being pithy. What evidence do you have to suggest they’re debating in goodfaith? The evidence against is that the people I’ve been addressing have routinely employed major errors in logic and clearly defined logical fallacy throughout their arguments. How can someone debate in good faith while simultaneously misrepresenting everything?

It isn’t my fault people on the other side of the aisle on this issue don’t seem to understand how to properly debate a point. I’m certainly not responsible for them making terrible arguments that break all the rules of logic, evidence, and reasoning.

…and aren’t presented w/o non-stop fallacious bs… the fact is, though, it simply isn’t a terribly strong position and it’s easy to pick apart because virtually nothing supports it outside of the complainant’s “feelings.”

Further, you’ve repeatedly demonstrated an inability to understand what fallacies are or why it’s important to not make them. Not saying this as an insult it’s just you keep making/defending fallacies, seemingly without understanding what’s wrong with fallacies in the first place.

Not telling people what is right and wrong. Nowhere in here or in any thread have I ever debated in bad faith. Again, I didn’t invent the rules of intellectual engagement when it comes to sensible conversation. This isn’t me saying “I feel like you’re wrong!” This is the entire school of logic saying, “your argument is built on a house of sand because it contains multiple errors of logic.” I am not saying “I disagree with you,” I am pointing out that logic says, “your argument breaks every rule in the book.”
