Like you scrap 3-5 reds and craft the one you need. With new droprates no duplicates system would be too good I think.

was thinking about this, but with 2-3 reds as crafting cost
This would be an actual useful currency; Red Dust. Scrapping a Red gets you 1, and you need 3 or so to craft another red.
That will take them a while to do that.
