New Game mode: Defense
Game background:
Shield station in the throne area was attacked by heretics, and Judge Lanik’s strike team was ordered to defend Shield Station.
Mode play:
When the player enters the Shield station, there will be one minute of game preparation time, the Shield station wall has four heavy machine guns that the player can operate, a gate and core with health, protect the gate and core. In one minute, the heretics and the Renegade legion will attack S.H.I.E.L.D. Station.
Defending the corresponding wave gives the player a monetary bonus that can only be used in the board, which can be used to refuel heavy machine guns, repair gates, or buy traps and Riemanustank fire support.
Settlement: Through the wave of player defense, settlement of out-of-game rewards and Emperor gifts
I think being able to buy additional turrets, mines and such things would be a cool mechanic, sorta like how Gears of War Horde mode worked. But I don’t think player operated HMG would work quite well with the Ogryn
Could also have us “buy” Npc helpers, like Guardsmen, Bullgyn, Servitor (Which could be repurposed for Tech Reject)…

Have you ever heard of a game called Sanctum, by chance?
Sanctum and Sanctum 2 were so much fun. Sentry and Outpost Infinity Siege look like games that want to do something similar.
