A Backend Error that turns off my own internet?

Issue Type (Required):

Error - Backend Error

Issue Description (Required):

I keep getting these backend errors while trying to log into the game, and the game somehow always disconnects me from my own internet after the 3rd try? This is legit the only game i have ever played that actually does this. Does anybody know what causes it?

It’s my understanding that this is a result of excessive packet (data) loss, and subsequent buffer overflow.

Here’s how I’ve explained it in the past:

The lost packets attempt to resend, consequently blocking up the buffer - which can be described as a chunk of memory that stores packets in cases where the physical medium of the network interface can’t handle the volume data being received. The buffer overflow (also known as ‘buffer overrun’) then causes the internet to disconnect.

This is usually down to an instability with the router or network. We recommend you reach out to your ISP (Internet Service Provider) for their advice in this situation.
