3rd Person Option for missions

I just picked up Darktide on PlayStation and am having a blast. I love the detail in the cosmetics and I spend a lot of time in the main hub gawking at them. It made me wonder, would Fatshark ever consider a 3rd person mode in Darktide?

I’ve seen videos of the mods on PC, and it looks good, if not a little janky. If Fatshark made it an official mode, they could easily fix the issues and make it a viable option.

I know this game is and should always be a first person horde shooter, and I don’t want third person to take over as the new norm. But it would be really cool to see it come to consoles.

I’m convinced that 3rd person would be more of a handicap than anything - so if people want to use it as an option I see no problem with that. The usual “cheat” of being able to see around corners really doesn’t matter in DT. No is going through the game sneaking and creeping.
