Yep. I am starting this thread. I am opening the gates. I am just saying, it would be really karkin’ nice if Fatshark gave us some insight into what they wish to achieve for 2026. Call it Fatshark 2026 New Year’s resolution. Just in broad strokes if you will, what are they planning to do when it comes to continue supporting the game. It is a live service game after all..
So prove to us that 2026 is also a year of live service. (Notice I write “also” here. I am not saying they haven’t delivered anything since launch)
Prove to us that you have a plan to keep developing and expanding the game.
Prove to us that there will be reasons to come back and play Warhammer 40K: Darktide in 2026.
Prove to us that self improvement is possible. (Interpret this as you like)
Remember that they still haven’t made a post where they go over how the year 2025 was for them and the game. If we are to get any info in regard to how many updates will Darktide get in 2026 or if we get a roadmap or not, or any info regarding the future direction they plan to take the game in, it’s the moment QuickPaw makes that post.
For now, there’s nothing else we can do, just wait.
1 mortis trials map, 2 new havoc modifiers, 1 class with 3-4 unique weapons, 3 new weapons/weapon marks for other classes, 1 new map for main mission board, some new event modifiers
Don’t forget more slop in the slop-shop
(But fr hopefully they don’t add a new mortis trials map and allocate those resources to a new full length mission)
Of all the classes in the game they probably have the highest potential for different and varied cosmetics and yet there is nothing? I don’t get Fatsharks decision making.
