I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this but these two crates are ALWAYS empty:
They´re not always empty. I never had materials there, but grenades, medpacks and ammocrates can be in there for sure.
On which difficulty are you playing on? Might be less filled on lower difficulties.

Can anyone provide a screenshot with anything inside any of these chests? I still haven’t found a single thing in them.
Haven´t made a Screenshot, but was in there in the morning… there was 1 little ammopack so.
I do believe that the issue relies on materials… they just can´t spawn there, atleast i never saw it. And while everything else have way lower chances to spawn, you´ll probably never find something in 9/10 runs. Could this be the issue @FatsharkJulia ? (Just quoting since it´s already under the “not a bug” category… i really never had materials in there and it´s often empty yes. )
To me it´s actually empty in like 7-8 of 10 runs. Had only one run where both where really good filled with medpack + ammocrate + grenades.
Finally found some ammo in one of them, so can 100% confirm not always empty 
Anyone ever had 2 items in one chest there? I always had the impression those are single chests in a triple-chest-coat

After further examination it really does look like they are single-item crates.
