First thing I read after this update. Do you guys happen to read twice what you write in those tooltips?
Zealot passive talent called DISDAIN (top left of the tree) shows +5% on your next melee attack.
5% what?

+5% intolerance. Its in the name. /s
Also, what does it do?
There is no icon, so we can’t see the stacks.
In this thread: OP couldn’t deal with the increased DISDAIN.
Seriously though, I did a quick dig through the source code. It’s melee damage. So for every enemy you hit, you deal 5% more melee damage on the next hit. It’s a bonus designed to make high cleave weapons better.
Bug should still get fixed obviously. Like a variable for the attribute isn’t properly called or the localization file has an error in that line.
So the more enemies you hit with the same attack gives you more damage on your next attack?
Yes and for only one attack. But that’s why it’s in the very first row. Still a pretty good talent.
You always have 5% to 25% more damage on any follow-up attack that connected. There’s certainly worse.
There should still be a stack indicator next to your health/toughness, right?
It should. Maybe it currently also doesn’t work.
@FatsharkCatfish @FatsharkJulia I believe the bug reported is actually two bugs. The first being the vague description in the talent tree. The second being that the talent actually doesn’t appear to work.
@FatsharkLev could we have an acknowledgement whether Disdain currently:
Thank you.
@fbolduc, I’ve queried this. It works - but the stack indicator icon is not currently shown correctly. I believe the fix for this hasn’t made it into our upcoming patch, but it should be in the next update after this.
Could it be buffed to also increase the Zealot’s intolerance of heretics? Even as a text only tip.
