I just did my first havoc after update and joined someone that was rank 20 I was rank 30 we lost and it took one of my tries for my 30 which I didn’t even try? Why is that? Is that intentional or a bug?
Yes, if I understand the blog posts correctly, this is intentional. Now everyone loses a deployment on a loss regardless of havoc level or who’s hosting.
I really wish they just ditched the Derank system altogether. I don’t really see the value its adding here.

I see this does alot of things they’re trying to force people to play their level while also punishing people not trying on lower ones right? Man keeping H40 will be a pain with random people then you won’t even want to play lower ones if you can lose. Hmm let’s see how it plays out.
From what I’ve seen and heard “how it plays out” just means the queue is dead. Barely anyone is playing, people of a similar assignment rank reject my party finder request instantly (probably because they want higher players to carry them). Supposedly the good players are pissed about the derank changes, so either they play in private premades or not at all. (and who can blame them?) Pubbing is the only way I can play havoc because I have no friends who play this anymore, so the mode is basically dead to me.
The derank system is incredibly stupid. Just let people play whatever rank they have previously unlocked, as many attempts as they want, even Weaves got that much right and people HATED weaves.

well i said it before the reset and it’s still true: havoc is best for premades because the people you play with are already there and you skip the “job interview” part. it’s easier to try new things, and if you lose, there’s less regrets and angry comments.
idk what the ABSOLUTE F**K they were smoking when they made all these changes but the mode is f*cking A*S now. Why did everyone lose their rank? What are these new modifiers that aren’t balanced AT ALL apparently. What is this HORSES**T???
F*ck this mode was already a pain to play before all this f*ck this bullsh*t absolutly clownshow. Just delete Havoc from the game at this point I sure as hell wont play it ever again. Good thing I had hit 40 before this so I can f**k myself cus my rank is gone now and I can never help another player clear again cus I will get punished for trying to help.
Edit: Also your swear censor bot can die in a wirefire how about you don’t pi*s off your players instead.

I knew this was going to happen so now you cant even play havoc for penance points. I need one more havoc game played for 5 more penance points so I want to find a low level havoc to play but im already at 5600 so I really dont care. They have completely killed havoc and its why noone is playing it, not just because its now too difficult for many but because of the de rank mechanic. Also even if they remove that none of us are 40 because they bumped us all down so like who cares. Yesterday I saw little to no havoc games because the new difficulty spike has already killed the game mode for everyone at the lower end and playing with randoms might as well be impossible now cuz it was already insufferable before. The people stuck 20-30 will never in a million years get to 40 now nor can you go from 28-40 now like I did its simply way too difficult now. As far as what i saw via havoc 30 yesterday very select few groups of the most elite players will get anywhere near havoc 40.
