I play darktide with MKB on Xbox, and previously it has always been that some menu options for instance reconnect or confirm login etc is not confirmable by mouse as there is no cursor. The fix has always been to do it with the controller, which has always worked. Currently it will work for a little while, but inevitably the controller stops working for menu selection (the yellow highlight dissapears) and I become stuck and forced to restart to fix. I recently got a new controller hoping that was the issue but unfortunately it wasnt. This was never an issue before, and it happens so often it’s really frustrating. Figured i’d share it here and hope for a fix someday. Thanks.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
Play game normally
After one mission at some point menu selection controls become non selectable (has also happened when spending too long in talent trees or equipping gear)
Force restart will fix until it happens again.
