- I was excited, I thought we would get some new stim, but no.
- Nothing really feels special.
- Is just “meh”.
- No aquilas, but for what it is… I would not even call it an event.
Its the curse of the rotational content, definitely one of the weaker modes. You’d think that the start of the year would be a good time for quality events but this one has me avoiding QP. I just don’t like not being able to see for most of the round, there’s already enough flavors of that I don’t need it in green.
If we can’t have past events in regular rotation and perhaps creating new events just isn’t a priority, can we at least give people the opportunity to vote on the event from past events? One poll on Steam, one on Reddit, one on FS Forums. Top result wins.
There are some really great events like Totems, Corrupted Radio and Shrines that really need a comeback.
Then maybe eliminate them one by one from the pool of possibilities for each event of the year so no repeats.

I want Corrupted Radio and Shrines as a normal mission modificator.
Also Radio guy as an usual enemy.

This was one of the worst events they’ve done so far, for sure.

I agree but it’s a boring event
It is easy and I like pox gas and lights out modifiers but Id prefer a rotation of more interesting and exotic mechanics than an event with a normal mechanic that appears every day anyway.
gas and stims seem the least of it, crazy amounts of extra specials, bosses with some of the modified versions.
Did an assassination mission and had an extra plauge ogryn and lieutenant spawn on Heresy, to not mention 4+ other bosses throughout map. More intense than I’d ever expect out of a Heresy… but was fun for me.
Did same one on Damnation, some stubborn Arbites kept trying to get me up during a boss fight then finally doing it and whole team goes down… heart pumping clutch to get revives @.@ no other event has done…
Replacing the pittance of ammo you give us against the enemy with limitless ammo even further by replacing most of the drops with stims results in us having to charge across an empty field into 50+ emplaced gunners with no ability to fight back. What fun.

Some of the best games my friend and I have ever had in Darktide has been during this event. It can be absolute madness
It’s almost like it’s a hybrid game and melee is incentivised. Crazy.
I still think this was a very bad event. If you don’t get the radio guy, snipers and trappers (worst enemy in the game) spawn endlessly. Sometimes you couldn’t even see the radio guy or it lagged behind you.
I thought that was the directors job to spawn specials, but suddenly there’s a special for spawning specials. It’s almost comical considering FS has been relying on elite and special spam to wage war against the player power creep.
Lots of teammates in quickplay also skipped the radio minigame and left you alone to do it.
Yeah I agree on that.
But I like the idea.
They could make it more visible.
Some didn’t even know what to do.
