Woops, all ragers!

Again, the shred literally stunlocks them. If you can maneuvor them to all get hit by the swing, whether you do a light, heavy, or push attack, it’ll stunlock all of them. My favorite trick with the eviscerator is to get one in the gut, then circle strafe until I’m stun locking the whole group with the shred.

Yes, the stagger is low if you don’t use the revs. That is why I explicitly said use the special/rev/shred multiple times. I don’t know how much more clear I can be about that.

That said, the Chainaxe mk4 will absolutely stun lock them with light attack spam, unlike chainswords and eviscerators, because the light attack sticks to their head and does a brief shred. So if you aren’t willing to use the mechanic that explicitly trivializes them, then you can get close enough with the mk4 chainaxe.

Not the mk14 though, that one has a different use case.

I mean, all of the enemies in the game has a hard counter that trivializes them. If you’re running those weapons, sometimes the director takes notice and gets EXTRA malicious with the spawns.

oh, you still have 10 minutes of gameplay total and think I was discussing Eviscerator. I look forward to your footage of you catching multiple ragers with the Cadian chainsword rev that has a cleave stat of 0.01.

I really like “mono enemy” maps (or half maps). When the director heavily favors a certain type of enemy comp it can really change up the game. Heavy mix (Crushers + armored ragers) is quite fun.

Yeah those Scab Only missions are pretty fun

…what?

are you an ogryn? I was talking about the Mk4 Cadian chainsword which you still haven’t provided any tidbits for. like if you tried your own advise you would realize how incredibly wrong you are and why I would think you’ve only played maybe 3 rounds total. the Chainsword doesn’t cleave elites even when it isn’t powered up. And it has a cleave of 0.01 powered up. It has low stagger power and low damage and low dodge range.

Spare me your terrible advise, this is the worst human melee in the game vs large packs of mixed enemies. your advice of ‘use the rev attack on giant mobs of ragers!’ is very telling of how much you don’t play vs me.

the advice applies to the cadian chainsword as well. I keep mentioning all of the chain weapons and even pointed out the one that revs for you.

Your ad hominem is boring. If you’re going to insult me, at least TRY. Do better.

Yes, the reved attacks have no cleave, that’s so it sticks to the enemy and actually shred them. That doesn’t prevent you from using the generous hitboxs and maneuvoring the weapon into several enemies while its shredding another. You literally just strafe until multiple enemies are being shredded. You’ll know it’s working when they rear their head back and spread their arms while shaking and screaming in pain. Just because you refuse to engage with weapon mechanics in the game to counter ragers doesn’t make the weapons bad.

dude you didn’t even know what weapon I was talking about and you’re still adamant that animation canceling to stagger one enemy at a time will work in anything with ‘hi intensity’ next to the name. you could not be less irrelevant here bro. nor have you attempted to change my initial take of ‘this is the worst human melee in the game’ or even contested it. its just confirming why that is the case, by suggesting doing something as absolutely pants on head moronic as animation canceling in the tight frames where damage is literally the only thing that will get you out of a bad situation. but whatever dude, you’re clearly just out to be mad. so be mad, I might just drop you on ignore after not-reading whatever tripe you’ll drop next. just try to improve at this game eventually and you’d see why that advice you gave was honestly insultingly terrible.

actually equip the right chain weapon this time, its called the cadian chainsword, make a clip of you fighting ragers and then don’t post it out of embarassment so you can confirm I was right. or find a single weapon in the game that has a harder time in that same situation. either way, I’m right and you’re combatively annoying.

Dude.
If you dont like chain weapons or a certain one, fine. Good for you. However, your preference is not carte blanche to ignore reality.
I explained HOW to use ALL chain weapons except the axes against multiple enemies multiple times. If you wanna keep moving goalposts by talking about chainswords in one post, eviscerators in another, and chainswords again and call me confused, that is a you problem. Not that it matters what weapon you want to move the goalpost to, because the mechanics in game that I have repeatedly explained apply to all of the shred mechanics. They have generous hitboxes that you can use to shred multiple enemies if you just move while shredding. If you want to ignore reality and get mad about it, that’s a you problem.

If I am so annoying, the please, do us all a favor and stop responding to my threads.
Sincerely,
Happily playing aurich maelstrom with chain swords, eviscerators, and chain axes :upside_down_face:
