i said what i “wish” would be done, fully aware that its gonna play out like the rip off car dealer in gta v :“tell me what you want and i’ll explain to you very detailed why it can never be” 
My dream is #LETUSPAINT, and I’m sure a lot of devs agree that would be superior to the current system. It’s a shame that greed is getting in the way of good game design. Literally if skins were cheaper and you could recolor them, I would spend the same amount that I do now, except I could get more value, so I would be more likely to spend even more.
I understand they’re scared about people finding 1 outfit they like and not buying anything else, but let’s be real, those people were never going to be whales anyway. I know for sure a lot of people would love to have a few outfits for each class, but with Fatshark’s current monetization strategy that would realistically cost over $100 and take several weeks if not months to get a few nice outfits for each class.
Just because people will be forced to spend a bunch of money to get the outfits they want, doesn’t mean they will do that. If someone is going to spend $20 no matter what, I’m sure they’d feel less bad about their purchase if they could get 2-3 recolorable outfits, instead of 1-2 outfits that will not match anything else.
If there weren’t so many lazy recolors, and so many clipping issues with these cosmetics, then maybe they would be worth the money, but they really aren’t and the only way I can justify spending the money is when there’s a good update and I want to support the game.

Obviously they don’t really feel like telling us what the plan is or even IF there is a plan for the Commissary.

I personally think it’ll never happen. Fatshark is not going to create an issue where they might need to refund people.
They’ve done the bare minimum of ‘adjustment’ in response to everyone hating on the vomitous nonsense they’ve handed out. They won’t change any further.

I didn’t originally look in here as I figured it was just full of ‘no’ and moving on.
But seeing that they literally HAVE THE AFHEO SKINS and clearly even put time and effort into having them available given the fact that even stuff like the relic blade has the red/blue skins, but they just aren’t actively in the game because reasonssss?!?
Yeah, this is pathetic. Like you literally already had a dev/designer take the time out of their work week to slap the skin on all the weapons that need them and put them in the files, you just didn’t bother flipping the switch to ‘turn them on’? Like wtf the amount of good will that could have and could be up kept by just doing that for all the existing (Gauntlet) and newer (Bolt pistol, Relic Blade, Force Greatsword) weapons is insane. Even if they never got updated with new skins at least keeping the same ‘red and blue’ cadence across all weapons would show that ‘you might not look the coolest, but there’s something ‘basic’ to go for for everything’ and make the community sentiment at least a little bit better.
But like, no, just say ‘screw you’ to your dev/designer that applied these skins already along with ‘f you’ to the community who would like that effort to be acquirable in game for the masses…I said it already but again, pathetic. At least leverage the work you already put in like come on…
At this point we need a ‘release the skins’ mod so people can at least apply them locally…

I know this is a joke, but having a place where all your operators mingle would give me major VT2 vibes. Hell, actually having them be there would be a step up from VT2
