Will FSR 2.0 be updated to 3.0?

Amd have just released their upscaling technologies with image generation, so I’d like to know if we’ll ever be able to get fsr 3.0 on darktide for us RTX 3000, AMD and Intel ARC GPU users in the coming weeks or months.

It would drastically improve our gaming experience.

Just tried it on Forspoken with my Intel Arc A770. THIS TECH NEEDS TO BE IN THIS GAME AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.

it seems to be fairly easy to implement so i should think theres a good chance ,
technically it wont be updating fsr 2 to 3 it will be adding , fsr 3 still uses fsr 2 as an upscaler, or it can work with dlss or even the intel scaler.

Is it that much of a difference?

yes, I’ve tried it on forspoken and the difference is significant in terms of quality and smoothness thanks to image generation.

What about the added latency?

It would be really awesome indeed !

That’s only with FMF/FG, not the FSR 3 upscaling.
in fact FSR upscaling decreases latency.

+1 for FSR 3 frame generation + support for Anti-Lag+ which is an Nvidia’s reflex equivalent.

Also, is there a chance to update FSR upscaling from 2.2 to 2.2.1 as it fixes artifacts due to bright lights in low light areas (all of darktide)

or at least re-tune FSR upscaling, because that’s the most distracting artifact, more so than the shimmering… all light sources in Darkside have this delay issue.

Native TAA below, no light issue

Another screenshot of the light delay issue,

it also includes fire effects, grenades, flashlights, muzzle flashes and any source that emits light.

I thought it was normal, but it’s not.
