Almost a year later and we had like 1 new weapon (Zealot Powermaul) and like 2 new maps with reused assets?
In a live service game? Where are the new weapons? Where are the new biomes? Where are the new enemies? Where are the actually new classes like the Skitarii/Tech Adept?
I will say that Heat death of the Universe will come slower, I am pretty sure this is the case considering our sun will be here for another 5 billon years
Xbox cert moment, the rest of the update could’ve be been here sooner but because for some godawful reason we had to share the same servers/build as the xbox version for crossplay that no one asked for we have to wait even LONGER because they have to do this certification process for the xbox which just adds even more longer wait times on things
Give it til 2028 til we get red items because of it LOL
eh at least they don’t seem to mistreat their employies.
I just play other games in between the downtime.
I say if people are asking for crunch or complaining about people having holidays. [which i’ve seen plenty of on here.] They’re either entitled troglodytes and/or about as mentally sound as a skaven.
The holiday time is only memed because of the timing of release. Leaving yourself one week after release before going on year’s end holiday is not the smart managerial decision they might have thought it was.
Slow and steady wins the race, rather than rushing to fix everything and moving one step forward and two back. Can you imagine if they pumped out this most recent class overhaul update in like January? The game would’ve crashed every 5 minutes. Good things come to those who can wait.
I’d like some Underhive missions with more daemonic influences. Maybe you phase in and out of the warp and lesser daemons are swarming you with each transition. Which, of course sounds like a Darktide version of Chaos Wastes.
They were slow because the majority of their resources were tied up with the contractually obligated (do it or Microsoft will rinse out the studio type of contractually obligated) Xbox port, which went from “releasing same time as PC” to “indefinitely delayed” to “ended up releasing almost a year later”.
