Why is a private penance part of the Psyker's Master of War

A penance which shouldn’t be part of the game in the first place?

This condition (do it in privater game) needs to go - because now psyker can do this WAY easier

Yep same… private penances are only ones I don’t have and it’s super (and obviously) unfair to have them included in larger grouped penances.

Nevermind fairness, its just poor design. There is a reason why Fatshark ended up putting those “challenges” behind “private game only” wall. Keep them there.

“Scoreboards is toxic”, but penances, which go against everything this game is supposed to stand for, aren’t. This stuff literally made players jump off a cliff for majority of a match so they can cheese the poorly implemented achievement conditions.

Yes the daft ones need tweaked or removed 100%.

Meanwhile zealot has penance that requires loner, be out of coherency from teammate…etc.
That is doable in public games…

I recently finished that and I’m positive its description isn’t as clear as it should be. I finished it with at least 1 teammate few meters away from me. I would not be surprised that as long as your coherency doesn’t go over 2, you are fine to have a teammate around. Still extremely tedious if you were to try to grind it.

I was just testing the results of the Invocation of Death talent u-turn, and how “totally not overpowered and balanced” it is now. I mean, its clearly intended to have few second cooldown for your active ability /s. Loner just ended up as my aura.

Same thing for Zealot. It’s a mandatory blockage that can only be done in a private game.

iirc these penances were moved to private games because it’s hard to have a pub team agree on just letting the psyker do his magic, especially without voice comms.
but a private game should not be required for getting that master of war title.
