You can see your own shadow when in third person and you can also see other players shadows.
Is it because first and third person use different animations and making a quality shadow for the first person animations would be very time consuming? Thats my theory anyways
Saving resources, (almost) every fps remove the player body from existence so it doesn’t tank the performance one bit.
gotta admit i love looking down when playing halo or destiny and seeying that i exist, also seeying my own shadows feels really good, existing is something we all take for granted.
It’s probably because its drawing on your side but when the camera goes into first person mode its not actually drawing your character on your side. So if there is no character drawn it’s not gonna cast a shadow.
