Who else likes the Frag Bomb on Ogyrn?

Just don’t play QP with it, as you will spawn in with zero nades everytime (unless lucky and join at the very beginning).

10/10 game design.

The only choice on enhanced blitz

I play with a group and the one thing we manage really well is grenades (psyker doesnt use them, I have a rock, and the vet gets free grenades every minute or soo…) This leaves the only thing around grenades and we have an Ogryn who sniffs them out just to big boom.

I love them and seeing a successful one kill 10+ ragers is always the best.

Truly the best blitz, my only sadness is not getting two. I wish for two, I don’t care how broken it is I want 1 for fun and 1 to hold onto in case of emergency! I don’t like having to decide between the two!

I don’t use it much because I still have a couple penances on the box, but I want to move over soon.

One of my major complaints on og is the lack of regenerating grenades like the vet.

And it’s hard to tell when grenades will be next available. Sometimes the game throws them at you like candy and sometimes it’s really stingy. Puts grenade use in a weird place for Ogryn.

If you only do Duos like my ogryn friend does then probably the best choice. You’re guaranteed the lion’s share of the grenades. You’ll have your “lil 'un” (me, in this case) excitedly pointing out grenades for you.

Dunno about quick play solo queue though. Rock is probably best for that.

Its so powerful they got rid of veteran providing me with random flashbangs and boxes because it exists. I still feel that one in my bones. Also for some reason soften em up is on this side too so like every best ogryn loadout will include it (sorry fellow rock enjoyers).

But the only other use of grenades on the level of the ogryn nuke is funneling fire grenades to a Zealot if he has uncanny strike. That’s probably some of the most insane damage I’ve done for just being there spamming melee. Everything dies.

If you have 3 Vets on your team the Frag Bomb will still be applicable… Unless they’re those Vets who don’t have “Demolition Stockpile” :skull:

Edit 1: I made a mistake whilst quoting.
Edit 2: I fixed my grammar.

There is only one grenade.
Big Boom.

I don’t care if it’s not meta, or “Best in Slot”, it’s just sooooo much fun to use that I always have it.

That was the old version where killing elites sometimes gave everyone a grenade right? Now only vet gets the grenade?

New one is called demolition team, but I’m currently clear on ‘if it applies to everyone’s grenades’ like it used to, or if it only applies to the vet’s grenades but everyone’s kills.

Similar question, does "Field improvisation’ work if someone other then the vet puts down the crate, and does it give grenades to those who aren’t vet?

Demolition stockpile is an absolute must take, but I’m less sure on demolition team, as above. Was that the error you corrected?

Hey, on the general topic of grenades, sometimes it seems like it’s hard to get them out fast enough. Any tricks?

I just briefly forgot that its name was “Demolition Stockpile” and just called it “Grenade Regen” until I remembered it.

Edit:

There is a way to underarm throw your grenades for the more “immediate” threats.

Eh, I kind of wish they would just call abilities by their function. I have to keep games lantern open in the other tab when we’re talking builds since I organize them in my mind by function, not ‘official title.’

It does help in some ways, I suppose. It’d be pretty tedious to have to keep explaining the differences between “Superiority Complex” and “Bring it Down!” to others if they didn’t have their names. I see your point, however.
