I agree it would be nice to get it, especially as it was a promised feature.
That being said, aside from messing around every now and then (like if you want to explore or chill without dragging anyone down) would you really use it much?
Bots are in an awful state, and I fear this would just open up the pandora’s box of how incapable they are.
I still think this would have some advantages (like starting a solo game until your friend can join), I’m just curious

Yeah of course Id use it because i am not paying a console subscription to then access the game I payed substantially for. Its wrong

I have 372 hours in Vermintide 2. ~70 of that was duo with a friend. So, ~302 hours were spent exclusively Solo w/ Bots. I’d get plenty of use out of the game mode if they added it to Darktide like they said they would.

Yes I’m not questioning that, I’m just curious, would you still, even with the bots DT has?
What difficulty do you play at?
Again I’m just curious. VT bots got improved over time and we were able to customize them from the start (kinda). I’m just wondering if one of the reasons FS isn’t doing this might be that they have no intention of working on bots in DT, and that solo mode withot bots improvements wouldn’t be warmly received

I played about 10 hours with the ManyMoreTry mod before I got tired of needing to go to an external website to get the mission information. Bots definitely are significantly worse, but even the current bot AI + being able to customize their loadouts makes them servicable (or even good) according to players who use the mod that lets you replace bots with your other characters. All they need to do is let us customize their loadouts and it’ll be perfectly fine.

I barely made it past the second difficulty level—I can’t even remember exactly. I’m dying to play again, but the home menu is telling me I need a subscription. Honestly, anything above the second difficulty turns the game into a choppy mess anyway for consoles. 
So sad but I might just be the only one I have 200+mg per second which should! Be enough but no we have to run with Other players and cant host locally yk? Just rubbing salt in the wound a lil lol.

The game is an absolute delight for me—every splatter, every messy little moment feels like art in motion. I just wish they’d finally knock it out of the park! Honestly, at this rate they might as well hire me so I can waltz in and show them how the magic’s supposed to be done.
