Did only read they were taking vacation but so do most companys. They make such things in advance are they not ? Im dead serious.

Last year was Traitor Curse.

This year is Grim Protocol.

Game doesn’t really have seasonal event, which you’re trying to bring up.

On the first day of Christmas, my true shark gave to me 4 broken power weapons.

And a rot fly in a Paul tree.

Neither of those were christmas events lol. VT2 just got some maps and it STILL got a christmas event. There’s actual christmas event frames in the files for what it’s worth they just never did one.

Not sure if last year was with one of the twins on the map spawning but i wouldnt mind it if they dont have anything. If they can enable it without much effort im in for it. It was pretty fun and changed the gamepley somewhat

The irony is that Darktide already has both the frames and cosmetics for the Christmas events completed and ready (as seen through the use of mods), yet they are still unreleased, accumulating dust.

They didn’t have to do much more than give us the Christmas frame or any other unused frames that would fit.

also for valentines day and autumn portraits iirc xD
but yea so many unreleased, still in VT2 lot of unreleased ones

dunno why they make so much portraits for then not releasing them
same as tox ogryn model which is a different boss meant to be the stormfiend boss variant for darktide

To be fair I believe that that would be to easy ( fatshark would want to increase player retention )

So perhaps make it so kill x amount of times a boss and you get the frame. Just an example. Hell give the enemys a Christmas head or something although i dont think warhammer would greenlight that Hahah

in vt2 though there is halloween and xmas events :smiling_imp: and it’s fatshark
it’s just weird that darktide has not received meaningful special events

cry havoc special event was a bit confusing and a bit mid just for a weapon trinket
but not really a big studied event either

mutated special condition one was cool at least though, giving one frame
but doing fomo special condition is also bad
when they do those events, including special conditions, after event should roll permanently in board, or adding 2 slots missions in board with the special event conditions, since theres lot of space anyway in the screen
