Sorry for the dumb question. I know they’ve added the Twins bossfight and obvly it can be done from T1 to T5 through Zola in the matchmaking menu
But then, what is this hardmode and how is it linked with the new bossfight?
I just know you must find some bells…?!

Right around the first trap event with the gas there’s a writing on the wall with 7 digits. These numbers indicate how often the 7 bells throughout the map have to be rung. Each bell must be rung the exact amount of times and no more for it to activate the hard mode.
It basically buffs the twins and increases spawns massively.
Also, you can “skip” the puzzle part just by joining someone who has already done it and after winning on hard mode you will have it unlocked too.

Once you have done the puzzle and succeeded at the bosses, you can just hit a bell somewhere, supposedly, to get hardmode.
I played with friends, who unlocked it already, and I sure didn’t hunt any bells.
You can unlock the bells on any difficulty and it’ll become available at all difficulties.

Wow, sounds pretty cool, thanks… but I was thinking, does this force you to play the hardmode from the start instead of from the last bell?
I mean, could this make everything even harder? Or the hardmode changes only the final bossfight?
Once you (or any teammate) unlock hard mode you can always initiate it from the beginning of map (instantly), and it always affects the boss fight only
Green - regular boss fight
Yellow - hard mode boss fight
Thanks. But after unlocked the hardmode “playing” with the bells, to perma-unlock it, have I to finish the game… right? So the easy way should be play T1

if you won’t win the game after doing the bells puzzle, you won’t have it unlocked for future runs (so yes, T1 is the easy way to unlock it “properly”)
But in my case, I just joined those who already have it unlocked, won the hard mode match with them, and got it permanently unlocked as well.
So there are 2 ways to get it.
That’s the problem, finding a group… I hope I will be lucky on the Discord

You don’t really need him exactly 
Just scroll down till you find “VOX CHANNELS LFG” and pick the one that suits your region, there’s always someone looking for a group on Twins
