Enjoyed it very much. Especially the buffs to the bosses and increased spawns.
Took me and my usual group 9-10 tries to clear but we had a lot of fun with it.
The map length also was perfect for what it is.
Some things that could use improving:
A way to reset the bells. Having a bricked hard mode run and being forced to start over, because some barrel or poxwalker hit the bell is kind of annoying. Causes needless frustration.
Maybe a second phase to the bosses. Kinda similar to the Nurgloth Fight in Vermintide 2
Some kind of actual cosmetic and not an Insignia. Headgear would have been great.
If we’re talking about shock horror actual meaningful rewards for their first LiVe sErVicE event, then how about unlocked red weapons.
While I agree giving us insignia is… about as worthless and meaningless as it gets, I’d rather have something actually mechanically useful than a bit of headgear.
They could have at least added a small reddish glow to it, like the bosses get when they’re buffed in hard mode.
They constantly did animated frames for VT2…
Nothing different from what I noticed. We did it with 3 zealots a few times using different loadouts, knife, hammer, evisc, and an ogryn with kickback for additional add clear. The voice lines were pretty much always the same. One time they bugged and didn’t play at all for some reason.
A frame would have been cool but something they really need to do just in future regardless is let us see insignias during missions, having them disappear when we’re in a mission is just really weird
Agreed. They should let us unlock the hard mode bells after the first time you do a full sequence and reach the boss, not after you’ve completed.
I will be doing runs this week to help people try it, only use I have for the bells, really.
