Twins Hard Mode

The hard mode should be a separate queue, me and a friend were trying to do it earlier but finding two other people who wanted to do it was rough, its just an inconvenience for both parties I know its meant to be a secret but its really hard to do it unless you have a 4 stack.

I have to say I made the opposite experience. I just cleared it 10 minutes ago with the second group of pub randoms.

The first group I queued up with I tried to trick into ringing the teleport bells I have unlocked, but someone spoiled it, so it was a normal run, heh.

The second went right for it anyway and we cleared it no problems. It’s definitely doable with pubs. Just a matter of time and player RNG.

Most people i encountered were totally cool with it

So far every single group I met was more than happy to give it a go. If you have a chorus zealot or three with you, it is kind of a free win too.

Just keep asking, more often people will give it a try.

Just ask people if they want to do it or not. If they don’t even answer and/or start rushing through the level without even glancing at the bells - just leave, you’ve lost what, one minute of your time? Or do the normal Damnation mission with them, if they don’t know about the hardmode they probably haven’t completed it normally yet.

For the record, most of the time when I asked the party was up for it, and I ended up getting that Penance done with a pub (although we grouped up to try again after failing the first time, and it took 5 tries in total, so it may not qualify as a “pub” anymore).

Have to drop 99/100 matches so this method of doing hard mode is terrible. And when you do get a group you’re likely to get 1 or 2 people who have no clue

Most randoms I’ve seen trying to do the bells don’t ask. They just stand at the alter smacking the bells and expect other people to know what they want. Some of them leave immediately if everyone else don’t join in and others will still try to do the missions normally, only to find out half way through that other people don’t even know about the hard mode, because they NEVER SAID ANYTHING.

In either case, if you have such crippling social anxiety or are just such a entitled snob that you can’t be bothered to actually ask if people want to do the special hard mode, it’s probably a waste of time to try doing it with you.

And no, just spamming “Bells” in chat doesn’t mean anything for most people who have no idea what you’re on about.

This is that exact same argument from WoW about dungeon queues.

You know what happened? They added dungeon queues, because hey, there were paying customers who didn’t feel comfortable asking others in chat to group up.
