I think literally nobody likes Melk, she only tolerates him because he’s both her superior and right next to her. He’s supposed to be an insufferable noble (which is part of the reason his interactions with Hallowette are great, because she’s an insufferable capitalist)
Overhearing their conversations, we can tell that, compared to her words of encouragement to the player characters, or prayers for salvation to the inhabitants of Hab Dreyko, she gives very short and direct answers to Melk’s questions, basically blowing him off without trying to seem like she is.

you and i have very different definitions of the word “encouragement”
From the limited voice lines I’ve heard, it seems like he’s trying to be a parent/guardian figure for her, while she is a “rebellious young person trying to prove themselves.”
It’s interesting to see what appears to be a “softer” side to Sour Milk, compared to his usual abrasive nature, but outside of that I don’t think we know much about their relationship.

that makes sense given what the psyker says about melk
melk likes to pretend he’s upper-class, and the priest lady is definitively a part of the noble order of the church and therefore “good people” to melk. the priest lady is probably just being polite since he’s not…actively bothering her with anything since she’s not important enough for him to try to play kiss-ass.

I never tasted sour milk, but it sounds interesting. Maybe it tastes like lemon with milk?
Anyway, there’s probably a reason why I’ve never seen this mixture in my life
PS:
I did a quick google search, and it says that it’s either not very pleasant, because of coagulation, very good and yummy, or you will die.
So, Sister Prime probably doesn’t like it.
PSS:
Holy hell, there’s actually a dish called sour milk, it looks icky and can cause tummy acke.
