What happened to poxbursters?

I’ve noticed recently that poxburster damage is inconsistent. What I thought was bursters always dealing 100 health damage turns out to be really inconsistent, especially any burster damage after the first. Poxburster explosions seem to deal varying damages. 1st poxburster usually deals 100 damage and poxbursters after that usually deal 50 damage, sometimes it’s more and I do not understand whatever logic poxbursters are working with. It’s nearly incomprehensible.
Additionally, corruption damage also seems to be inconsistent. I’d expect my Psyker to die in 2 poxburster explosions because they would normally inflict enough corruption damage to instantly get me to my last wound but for some unknown reason poxbursters sometimes also deal less corruption damage.

If you possess Corrosion Resistance, the corrosion damage inflicted will be reduced
