See the yellow ! next to the item level? This is the first time I’ve seen it. Does anyone know what it means?

You sold that weapon which was on your different loadout. So the game automatically chose a weapon for you.

It should probably disappear once you look at your item list, the same way the ‘new item’ dot does. It didn’t clear until I switched to another weapon, then switch back.

I think it also displays when you change a characteristic on a weapon which is equipped on multiple loadouts. Because I definitely didn’t sell my best Heavy Sword, but I did change a blessing.
I’ve never seen the yellow “!”, only a red “!”.
The way I understand it then: red ! Stands for you having sold the item and yellow indicates you having changed a property about the item.
Or am I gaslighting myself here and the “!” Has always been yellow, even when you sell items?
I most definitely had a yellow ! a few times (just after I told someone with that issue that I’ve never seen it before), and I’m reasonably certain in all but 1 case that I did not sell the weapon in question.
It is possible I upgraded it, though. And yes, it goes away by switching to another weapon and back, or reselecting a talent point.
It’s kind of superfluous.
