What about the economy?

A bit of background
The crafting system simplified the entry threshold for many new players or for those who couldn’t/wouldn’t take the time to farm a resource. And those who are now complaining about the fact that their weapons that they farmed for a very long time took away or devalued - do not understand the meaning of this system and it is very sad, if you invested time and now it is not / it is different - yes offensive but no more, the system is designed to simplify and delay new players because they will not have to spend a huge amount of time.

But there is a problem that apparently the Sharks did not foresee or do not understand: resources lose their meaning. If before having 5kk gold 100k plastics and so on - you could make a couple or three good things - now this amount will more than cover if not absolutely all characters, then at least 1-2. To calculate how many resources from 0 need to pump skill on all characters I do not want and bonanalno can not due to the lack of 0 levels, as a fact, my friends who play much less than me - already catching up with me on pumping and say that they have nowhere to spend resources.

And now my question: Where to spend resources? If I used to be able to buy hundreds of bobbleheads through the mod purchase to the rating just to avoid the ceiling of 25kk and the money did not burn (although I do not need weapons, I just look in the inventory of the interesting variant) - where do I now pour gold, plastic steel, etc.? What are the entertainment options for the “rich” by the standards of the game? I will not attach a screenshot with the number of resources, because I do not see the point of parsing on my example, but I want to convey that there is a problem with the beginning of the accumulation of resources
No seriously, the purchase of weapons with the necessary stats “for the future” ceased to make sense - in 500k maximum you will make yourself a perfect 1-2 guns of the same family and forget about them. Resources for crafting similarly ceased to be so necessary in a similar percentage. And removing the limit from the maximum gold cap is not an option in this case.

Dear Sharks, you have been offered various options and ideas on the forum and everywhere else, so why not use them?
A private room where you can organize trophies and so on in the manner of Vermintaid - no problem, but buy it and organize for money.
Customization of weapons - similarly
Clothing and its painting / customization - similarly
The ability to farm Akuvils? - no and again no, but if you splurge a certain percentage of currency either to buy donated items, or to exchange for this currency - why not?
There are a lot of options and cart, the question is not vital to the game, but it’s a big eyesore, and it will only get worse.

Help! I’m a millionaire with nothing to spend my money! I had a wonderful life slaying heretics for the emperor, more money then I can spend on blessings and gorgeous rejects lying at my feet. But now that I have all the weapons and blessings I only dared to dream of my life feels hollow and empty. Crushing the skull of a heretic doesn’t give me the satisfaction it used to anymore. Without the ability to spend money, my life feels without purpose and meaning. Even worse, my friends are becoming as rich as I am and my superiority over them is vanishing.

Please consider to create something new to spend my totally real money on, so that I can move past this feeling of emptiness inside me.

Or could you just gasp play the game because it’s enjoyable without the requirement for addictive mechanics?

Gamers today just cannot enjoy just playing a game.

Everything must be designed to keep them interested and addicted by employing login incentives, battlepasses, and trophies to fill the void in their real-world lives.

“I don’t know who I am anymore, I’m getting too much Dockets!”

a man in a purple suit and tie is looking at a cell phone .

Personally I’d like new things in the commissary to spend the excessive amount of money and resources I have on

But it’s nearly been 500 days since fatshark knew it existed

My Ordos and Plasteel keep piling up and I couldn’t be happier. I finally can grab a weapon, fix it up and play it and not worry about checking a third party browers extension every hour for the chance of getting a Weapon somewhat close to what I am looking for just for testing.

Playing the game is pretty awesome if I can just play what I wanna play. The tide gameplay is a lot better then tide gambling.

50k Plasteel and 1mil Ordos for solid Green weapon Skin. Make it happen.

They can start with a vet set that has an orange jumpsuit under a simple black flak vest, fitting a penal legion.

Please. PLEASE.

At the end, with the current system, you won’t.
Let’s be serious… as I have said when players wanted lock removal, the game economy has no purpose now. And as someone has said on these forum (and a lot have bashed him), they could have removed all of this and let us choose weapon configuration, it would be the same.
If they have kept this, it is only to let a sensation of progression for a new player.

What they could have put is a decay system… but then the community would have bashed them for sure…

Agreed.

They can just add some skins that cost around 3m ordo dockets per piece (so, 3 million for a full set). Add one per class every update and we have our ordo docket sink (for most players that don’t play 8 hrs every single day).

I remember when back in a day when we barely had any sets, both premium and free, and I really enjoyed farming full-white set for the Zealot.

Not gonna happen probably. They know it’s one of the main colors of the imperial guard, and most people would like that color (or black) over anything else.

They already sold a dark green revolver skin and dark green autogun at Commodore’s.

I appreciate the irony, but here’s a clarification. I like the game and I enjoy its gameplay, resources I have a very long time accumulated, but to spend them somewhere I can not, I basically that it was all the same when the game I had everything was at zero that now, I am interested in the gameplay. But as a fact, I do not quite understand why resources will be needed now, really for what? I have friends who started earlier to play needed them and if there was an opportunity to give them my resources - I would give them, but I can not. I’m really interested to know why there is a reward in the form of some currency, which over time loses all its meaning.

CAN I PLEASE please have some money saved up at least in one universe?

Kinda normal in games, when you reach the endgame, to be submerged in currency. I don’t really see as a bad thing. When new weapon come out we can get instant mastery immediately.

all the plasteel and diamantine and ordo dockets, all melk coins
but no Aquilas :smiling_imp:

life’s hard on Atoma Prime.

And there were players crying about costs.

If you will do that again newcomers and returned players will cry they have no time to grind cause of job and kids and as they are being gated immediately.

Plus we have pennance system for grind.

What devs should do is to drop a lot of cosmetics with reasonable docket prices. So it’s not gonna be a second work for new players and they can put their hands on new stuff fast enough. And DT veterans will be rewarded for all the hours they’ve indested.

Idealy we need something else to customize besides character and weapon, like or own room on the Mourningstar.

I think the mourningstar needs another casino, with blackjack and hookers this time!

ressources are a means to an end.

that end is now met.

i rather enjoy switching back and forth different pickaxe types without having to build a third or fifth one to customize.

should have been like this from the start, pick your tool and enjoy whacking heretics.

only ressource i need is ammo (and rashuns, but ammo mostly) when not playing C I VI, to get the most “game” outta the game. :man_shrugging:

This is exactly what we need!

Fatshark, hire this man!
