This thread got derailed over a debate about the dueling sword being nerfed.
My actual point Iām trying to put forward here is to do the rewarding nature of Vermintide melee weapons, and the sluggish nature of some of the Darktide melee weapons.
This doesnāt have anything to do with damage output, or whether or not something needs to be nerfed.
Itās to do with the fine details of the weapons themselves. Their heavy attack charge time and attack pattern being the main two factors that I can think of.
So you want weapons to have no moveset?

Nope didnāt ignore them, Iāve mentioned them throughout this thread. The relic sword is a playable weapon though, I just forgot to mention it.

Yeah so Iāve mentioned this a few times now, Iām talking about how rewarding these weapons are to use. It might be that I used the word ābalanceā in the title of this thread so people assume I mean power, but not quite. Though some weapons are actually underpowered though.
The duelling sword 4 and 5 have quite literally no attack patternā¦

Who cares how they play? I get the feeling youāre using this thread as a platform to act better than other people, and you frequently misrepresent what Iām saying in a way that I think is deliberate.
I like how you immediately tried to flip it as some elitism thing, when it was my retort to you saying that ālow level gameplayā is where dueling sword is an issue. Stay honest

Can you just be normal please? A video game is not a flex. This is something I enjoy, Iām passionate about it, Iād like it to be better so I could enjoy it more.
Iām not doing any kind of elitism thing, I just got the impression from your comment that my input was not as valid as someone elseās input.
And yeah we disagree on the Dueling Sword and thatās fine.
You came in swinging with the le low skill le malice accusations the second I said it can one shot crushers (precog + duelist), why is this the only thing that people use in this community to defend their own claims of x weapon is balanced.
