By this, I mean adding a new Elite Assault unit (Similar to shotgunners) but they run around with knives and autopistols. Their attacks are weak (Except their running stabs) but they are fast.
They should be faster than a sprinting knife zealot, and get even faster when doing a running stab. They could be infested typed and even slide around to avoid ranged fire.
I think seeing some tainted-stimm-addled poxer running at you with a knife would be pretty cool, even cooler when there’s 12 of them.
To make it even scarier, the Scab versions could be partially invisible until they attack or are hurt, but are melee only. Stealth Assassins! Could also be another unarmored typed enemy. Gotta get those rare armor types better rep.
Agreed. I would love to see more mobile enemies that are not disablers.
I would also like to see “Trench Raiders”, which would be like Shielded Stormvermin from the VT2: basically a helmeted Scab Bruiser with a shield that can block smal larms fire and some melee attacks.
Another idea for an enemy would be something like “Scab Commando”. It would basically be a very mobile gunner/stalker hybrid, who can use Hotshot Carbine on the move, roll like Shotguners do, have Carapace bodyarmor and maybe extra ability like throwing Frag grenades to flush you from the cover.
