Warp Templar (Build)

Here’s a fun build for any Psykers who want to try something different.

To summarize, most of the talents and blessings are centered around getting crits for speed, dodges, damage buffs. This build isn’t the fastest out there, but the speed bonuses help reduce the mobility penalty of Force Greatsword and once the distance is closed it’s GGs to anyone unfortunate enough to be in melee range.

The build has a lot of variety for attack options, with BB covering long range sniping, Surge staff offering effortless specialist control and Greatsword bringing the heavy damage.


For bosses, opening up with Resonance BB maxes out Peril quickly for high damage in melee when the BB eventually aggros the boss. Greatsword overheads and stabs will deal consistent damage one the boss is in melee.

For curios, running +3 stamina is beneficial for survivability and mobility, followed by 2 16% toughness curios. Perks are focused around Scrier cooldown and stamina efficiency for all that melee combat.


For Elites it’s all about Greatsword stabs and overheads, on Damnation it’s usually a two tap to a Mauler’s head unless Flayer procs. The stagger from the sword push attack followed by a stab to the head effortlessly trivializes individual Crushers as well.

For Crusher packs, it’s still ideal to use Warp Unbound Surge staff secondary attacks to assist teammates in taking them out.
