see the begging message to nominate DT for best soundtrack. i tell ya what fix your soundscape so it functions and then maybe id be able to actually listen to it. then maybe id vote for it.

Well, the tracks themselves are great. Carnival is just b**chin. The enemy sounds, though… yeah needs work.

They have my vote of confidence for sure. If not for Fatshark themselves, then at least for Jesper Kyd, the absolute legend that he is.

But who am I kidding? I also love Fatshark and am fully biased (with all the faults they obviously have). Of course I voted for them (and in multiple categories).

i get you, but i won’t take the musicians hostage for bugs that have nothing to do with em

Yeah, the composer is not the same as the sound designers and coders.

I kind of wish he was tbh, historically sound design when done by an experienced musician (Trent Reznor, Mick Gordon) tends to be really tight and work super well.

I’m kinda sad we got robbed of Trent Reznor working on the Doom 3 sounds.

I agree with the main point though, the soundtrack is a standout thing that has been consistently great and it’s clear it’s done from a place of love since it fits in 40k so well.

Music is good, but monday had a group wipe because we couldn’t hear the trappers behind the crushers who shot through the crushers…
