To be fair, picture 2 isn’t really fully supported and was modded in but not the (yes, I’m gonna say the magic words) Design Intend.
In Vermintide the Scoreboard was part of the Intended Design, though.

I think they’re more talking about how the majority of kills switched between ranged and melee between the 2 games.

Doesn’t it heavily depend on class? An ogryn with a club is probably going to rely on said club to do most of the damage, while a psyker with a purgatus staff is going to get the almost exclusively ranged kills.

I’ve done entire Chaos Wastes games with just Griffon Foot shotguns. You can totally do ranged if you want. Or those javelins until last update…

Your choice of words clearly implies that you are trying to make fun of the guy for “rushing in to defend“ something.
There is nothing that the guy was trying to defend. What was supposed to be defended in the first place?
