Picture this,
Difficulty 4-5, wave comes mixed with some specials, you empty your mag and now you are forced to switch to your melee to deal with some of the swarm that has flanked you, all of a sudden more specials spawn, and it’s your job to deal with them. You draw your trusty emptied ranged weapon, rack the slide, start the reload animation, use Volley Fire and rack the slide again, and then you are allowed to proceed with the gameplay. I feel like you shouldn’t have to rack the slide on both occasions and it makes the ranged gameplay very clanky.
