Cleave target 4 takes less damage than cleave target 5

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

-Use any Veteran shovel
-Thwack group of horde with the crowd beater heavy
-Targets 3 and 5 take the same damage, while target 4 takes less than target 5 would

Does the Veteran hit his stride mid swing?
