Vermintide2.exe - Bad Image

When I try and launch the game i get this error message:

“vermintide2.exe - Bad Image
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\VCOMP140.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f.”

I have nearly 250 hours on this game and haven’t had this before, though it’s been some time since I last played. I’ve already tried reinstalling the game and verifying the integrity of the game cache on steam. Please help!
