When i close my game the majority of the time it will hang. Pressing stop does nothing and the game still thinks its running so then i have to forcefully close it with task manager.

I can corroborate that - most times I launch VT2 it keeps hanging out in the background counting my in-game time in Steam and preventing Steam to close.
