Update broke Logitech ghub

Usually when I launch darktide, logitech gaming software (ghub,) detects it, and switches to my darktide profile.

Now it doesn’t. I know that’s ‘3rd party software’ but it worked before, (last night.)

I logged in after the patch this morning, and logitech switched to the profile for Aliens Fireteam Elite.

Okay that’s goofy, I think, but logitech ghub is a goofy program. I reboot the computer. (which I had not done since before last night, when it worked fine.)

Now it switches to “Desktop default” when it should switch to the darktide profile.

(BTW, while I say it worked fine, sometimes I needed to alt-tab, click on ghub, and click back to darktide to get it to ‘detect’ and switch, but otherwise it was reliably detecting darktide.

I have tried resetting the path to darktide in ghub. It didn’t work, even though I got the path from task manager.

I suppose I’ll have to move to persistant profile for now, but this is weird. Anyone have an idea?

GHub works as expected for me. Using it for my mouse.

Yes. Version 2023.10.493254.

And it worked fine last night!

Very weird.

I can’t seem to reproduce the issue on my end, and I’m not sure what the answer is admittedly. As a workaround you can disable automatic profile switching, but I appreciate that isn’t a long-term solution.

IT feels like Darktide isn’t reading out to the PC (on some level) as darktide. Like it’s telling the PC it’s something else. I don’t know how ghub really works on the inside, but I presume it looks at ‘on top’ and switches to whatever you told it for that app.

And if the PC thinks darktide isn’t darktide, there you go?

I tried building a new profile, it’s reading off

\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE\binaries\darktide.exe
but when darktide is to the front it still switches to desktop default.

I tried verify game cache through steam, still desktop default.
