I immediately crash to desktop every single time I try does anyone know what I can do? I’ve already reinstalled the game, verified the integrity of the game files, I don’t have any mods and I’ve updated my drivers. Still can’t play immediately crash every time after the new hotfix
This is a known crash and will be resolved in our upcoming patch, however, you should be able to work around this by deleting your AppData:
Press the Windows key + R
Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
Delete the ‘Darktide’ directory
You may then need to use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option via Steam:
Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
Select ‘Properties’
Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
When complete, close and reopen Steam
