Yep, thatās what I do. Iāve actually managed to get Darktide to lock up my whole PC when I was messing with stuff like texture filtering and tessellation. I donāt know for sure if it was related but Iām not taking any chances. I think of it as ādo this so the game can just do what it wantsā
i need to avoid atleast anti lag and surface and any hyper rx stuff and teleslation on application control and what about the other stuff? like fluid frame generation

Just click the default profile. Then turn off surface format optimization and set tessellation mode to use application settings.
Fluid frames is frame gen but from outside the game, meaning it adds a bit more input lag and wonāt look as good as the real thing. Not good for a game that actually has itās own frame gen.
You know what, itās easier to just show you. Copy this
then click the gear in the top right corner and turn the overlay off. Donāt worry, youāll still get a FSR4 popup

If you want to later, you can still change these settings for other games individually in the games tab.
Just donāt do it for Darktide itself. It changes between what .exe itās pointing at seemingly randomly which I imagine means all the different programs tied to Darktide are trying to use the same profile.
My guess is as long as Darktide is using the global profile all of the related programs will be using the same preset

the update also corrupted my entire c drive 3 weeks ago when the mini updates came at 6 am and i lost alot of personal data and files because i brought my pc to the dad of my friend he said oh we gonna revert the updat than i said wel i keept haning on boot than he showed a realy worried face i a strong feeling my old c drive was permanent like a imperial ship lost in the warp forever and all crew became corrupted by chaos or went mad
Last idea I guess, try playing without your antivirus on? Windows defender is āfineā and some others can mess with games.
i have esest anti virus and it worked fine with eset anti virus
i will look that it works though the firewall of eset
The thing is antiviruses can get updated behavior and have false positives. If Windows security can mess up, so can others.
