Tired of enemy trickle

consoles have lower end pc hardware, so if you want the game to run on different platforms, you target that lower end. so it’s not like the devs had much choice once the game was no longer pc exclusive, and on the other hand you can’t choose to not sell the game to more people.

hence my preference to have less , but more dangerous enemies.

You can’t influence the difficulty with mods, this isn’t vermintide. Havoc doesn’t even have enough specialists to be inherently more mechanically complex than 3veg solos.

Thats a shame for the diehard Tidevets out there. I assume FS restricts whats moddable?

it’s because the game structure is different.

V2 has peer to peer hosting vs DT using servers

Meaning the game state is on the host pc to be manipulated and sent to everyone, vs the game state being on a server you don’t have access to.

DT mods are pretty much exclusively client side, meaning only changing things that won’t be sent to the server for game state review aka won’t be checked for mismatches
so like HUD, skins etc (that’s also why only you can see your skins for example)

At the very least, they definitely removed idle/roaming hordes when the talent tree update came out. You only encounter them in lights out nowadays.

I don’t care about difficulty. I just crave for new experiences because the game is becoming repetitive and boring.

It’s all right. I understand my opinion is a bit counter-cultural.

No I’m not tired of being backstabbed. It just doesn’t happen anymore because the game is so predictable. There is ALWAYS a trickle of enemies or a special spawning at your back, side or wherever the closest magic door happens to be. Always. All the time.

So the only viable way to fight is to constantly turn around waiting for the inevitable trickle/special to spawn from the closest magic door, kill it, then progress a bit. Rinse, repeat. I’m so used to fighting like this that it’s become boring.

That would be SO refreshing to have waves of enemies coming from the front. I dream about that.

This will give you a good idea of how I feel:

Every game has its limits when you know the systems inside and out. I think you know it too well

Still, maybe someday, but I wouldnt hold your breath, you will surely suffocate before they bring something that differemt, especially after Havok. I hope Im wrong.

Same here. The one single chaff enemy that spawns behind you the moment you stay in one place more than 3 seconds isn’t exiting or challenging, it’s just annoying and destroying any suspension of disbelief by its predictability.
