Thus far observed cheats

  1. Ability to instantly kill all enemy skaven, kinda like that one mod that lets you spawn enemies in modded realm can do.
  2. Self healing
  3. Damage resistance - Some heroes just do not take any real damage from anything, like taking a full gattling barrage and all it does is 20, no shield.
  4. Infinite downs&revives. Some guys can die like 4-5 times before they stay down, others can go down a full 10+ and get back up no problem.
  5. Aimbots
  6. Wallhacks
  7. Vastly improved skaven - Various ways
  • Massively more health. Like a Gunner eating 6 javelins or a full trueflight/BH ability and not dying.
  • Immune to stagger
  • Faster
  • No reload gunner
  • No cooldown gasrat throws
  • Infinite horde spawns - game just starts spawning hordes and it doesnt stop.
  • Bigger horde summons. Any single horde summon used it WAY bigger than normal.

Versus has a big cheating problem, its getting increasingly more common to encounter them and they are damn blatant about it too because they seem to think nothing will happen :frowning:

Can anything actually be done?

I have two examples of a truly blatant hackers I had the misfortune of meeting . One was a guy playing as hookrat, who grabbed my teammate near the end of the map, noclipped with him to the start to hoist him, went back, tried to grab me, got killed, returned as a floating hook without a rat attatched noclipping through the wall, caught me, and hanged me mid-air about 10 meters high. The other one was a RV with a handgun and an aimbot/wallhack who just headshot everyone instantly. What truly gave him away beyond any doubt was that at one point he repeatedly tried to shoot me through a wall, even though he had no way to know where I was. I could not have possibly been pinged and I was far away from him to hear my sound cues.

There are also ton of people using two well-known exploits which aren’t hacks, just the hackjob codework of fatshark. One is hookrats glitching people out of the map or into walls and such, and the other is resetting aim stun with the brace of pistols.

Plenty of very suspicious people are running around who aim juuust a little too perfectly, even when they are being ventillated by a ratling gun, but that’s harder to prove. The game has Easily Bypassed Anticheat. Don’t have your hopes up, it was a piece of sht even when it wasn’t a stone-age relic.

I’ve seen a few folks with impossible crit chains and zero cooldowns too, usually showing up in quickplay. Reporting in-game doesn’t seem to lead to much, sadly
